This card is from an all-time iconic set AND is of an all-time greatest player. Vintage soccer collectors won’t need an introduction to either, but for the uninitiated the 1932 Konig set was issued in Nazi Germany, just before World War II started and paper production ceased on things like cards in Germany. It is famous for its bright borders and selection of both German and international stars. And Nasazzi was the Uruguay team captain that led his team to the 1930 World Cup victory, which was also the first ever world cup played.
This card has an amazing action shot of Nasazzi jumping over another player to head the ball. It has a Nilprincess Ramona back. The card is in poor condition, which makes it affordable for those looking for an iconic historical piece to add to their collection.
