These stickers were issued in 1958 by Ave. Ltda as a supplement after the World cup to celebrate Brazil’s victory.
This sticker is half of a face of Pele. The other half of the sticker was evidently not issued, because no one has ever encountered one in the hobby. Some times sets didn’t issue stickers because of printing errors and other times sets skipped stickers to keep kids from completing the set, in order to keep them buying more cards or to stop them from redeeming a complete set for a prize (some sets were redeemable for prizes).
